Go Organic

Brian Sundberg
Industrial agriculture is a form of farming that refers to the industrialized production of livestock, poultry, fish, and crops. It is basically mass producing animals and crops. What the farmers do to the animals is give them growth hormones and speed up the process of their growth so they become so big they cannot walk. The animals are cramped in huge long houses with upwards to 300,000 animals. After being slaughtered they are pumped with “safe” chemicals to make them taste better to the consumer. Not only are the animals being tortured but the environment is too. The slaughter houses are polluting the atmosphere and stripping the land of its natural vegetation. There is only one way to stop these horrible things from going on, which is eat organic foods and plant organic gardens. The farmers who raise only organic meats and chickens are not polluting the atmosphere and they are not torturing the animals. The foods are free from chemicals and are not dangerous. If we all act now we can reverse the horrible things the big companies have done. Not only can we save the animals but we can save the environment.
